GGA Partners with dsquared Consulting to Realise Australia's First Zero Carbon Apartments

56 Seventh Street apartments render located in the Bowden renewal area in Adelaide

Grieve Gillett Architects has partnered with dsquared Consulting to design Australia's first zero carbon apartments located within the Bowden renewal zone near Adelaide's CBD. 

Rated as among the first in Australia to be rated as a 5-star Greenstar building, the proposal was selected as a finalist in the Government of South Australia's Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge initiative. 

The Residential Sector currently accounts for 40% of the Adelaide CBD carbon footprint. Our idea eliminates carbon emissions from medium to high density residential development and therefore if fully commercialised will make a dramatic contribution to Adelaide’s target of zero carbon living.
