Crayon House is restrained, simple and yet a beautiful example of a house that has everything it needs without being excessive. Deemed an exemplar of sustainability in the suburbs, the colourful and playful project was awarded The John S Chappel Award for Residential Architecture (New Houses) and an Award for Sustainable Architecture.

2017 AIA (SA) Residential Jury Citation As one approaches, this house a simple and well-proportioned timber façade welcomes you, and what strikes you after seeing photos is how well the house is nestled into the street and what a wonderful contribution to the street the architecture offers.
