The refurbishment of staff facilities at Loreto College is the first in a series of catalyst projects aimed at transforming the school’s culture, reputation and revitalisation.

The administration staff have settled into the iconic State Heritage-listed Acacias building, which has been carefully curated in simple blocks of colour to complement the rich, highly detailed heritage interiors.

A major reconfiguration to the ground floor of the existing Mary Ward building has consolidated the school reception and student entry, and transformed the public face of the school on Talbot Grove. The new interior fit out includes shared kitchen facilities, breakout spaces and contemporary open plan workspace.

The project as a whole has helped to drive a new education and learning direction for the College, and location and design treatment of the two buildings has improved accessibility to and between staff to foster a collaborative approach to the education journey.
