Abitha George
Graduate of Architecture
Abitha is an emerging architecture professional with a growing body of work in
education, civic, health and heritage projects. She is fascinated by the influence
that architecture has to create a positive environment for the occupants, particularly its impact in healthcare outcomes. She is currently deepening her knowledge of the heritage sector in particular, contributing to adaptive reuse and conservation projects.
A testament to her tenacity, Abitha has recently completed her Master of Architecture, having previously achieved her architectural registration in India. With experience across two continents, Abitha has a deep understanding of the relevance of climate, context and heritage to the design of our cities and buildings. Abitha has experience across concept design, interiors and documentation. She brings a variety of software skills in documentation and graphics to aid in project delivery and client communication, as well as physical models, prototypes and pitching ideas.
A talented artist with a passion for drawing since childhood, Abitha infuses art into her architecture career, using hand sketches and painting to bring concepts to life. She is a dedicated professional and team player, demonstrated by her continual involvement in student life and volunteering.
