Tenders released for Salisbury High School Redevelopment

The South Australian Government has released the tender for the construction of the Salisbury High School Redevelopment.
In 2018, Grieve Gillett Andersen were engaged by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure as Lead Professional Services Contractor (Architecture) to work with the Department for Education on the design of a new Visual Arts, Food Technology and English facility.
NAWIC Awards celebrates women in construction

Grieve Gillett Andersen was proud to be nominated for the 2019 Crystal Vision Award at the National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC) SA Awards for Excellence announced in October.
As a medium size South Australian architectural practice, we are proud to employ 33 professional staff, of which 50% are female. In addition, at senior leadership level 1 of the 2 Directors and both Associate Directors are female, which is well above the national average for architecture practices in Australia.

We are excited to welcome Nicole Dent and Esther Chew as practice partners at the Associate Director level. Together they join Paul Gillett and Dimitty Andersen at the helm of the practice, with Steve Grieve stepping aside recently as Director and member of the Board.
Learning Environments Australasia SA/NT Chapter Awards

Grieve Gillett Andersen received two Commendation awards at the Learning Environments Australasia SA/NT Chapter Awards on 25 September, 2019 for our recent projects Loreto College Staff Facilities and St Mary's Corner.
For the renovation/modernisation of an existing facility, the jury stated that “the Loreto College Staff Facilities project provided a sophisticated, light filled staff area which respects the presence and historical continuity of surrounding buildings.
Prefabricated shroud installed at Pembroke's Jin Bridge

Another exciting milestone as the finishing touches to the Pembroke School Middle School Redevelopment 'Jin' Bridge were lifted into place this week.
The purple steel shroud prefabricated and installed by Specialisted Solutions floats out of the Jacaranda canopies that line Shipsters Road. This completes the final stage of the building works, which connects and provides the main entry from the building to the school's main Kings campus via a new landing, accessible lift and external staircase.
Pancakes for Parkinson's Networking Breakfast

With 80,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Australia and an estimated 30 people diagnosed each day, the team at Grieve Gillett Andersen are proud to be supporting Parkinson’s SA this year.
We invite you to join us for a networking breakfast on Tuesday, 10th September, where we will serve up hot pancakes with a range of toppings so that we can to raise funds to support those living with Parkinson's, as well as their carers and families, the community and health professionals.
